Water, water, everywhere....

Here is an old WWII water can. Painted it flat black and then added old skool colored stripes to finish the effect.
The rough texture due to scratches and dings, along with the "X" shaped recess in the front of the can add to the difficulty of keeping your line thickness consistent.

Farm Truck Stripes.....

Laid these stripes and lettering for a buddy to make it to the Port City Rumble last weekend.
Super-over-reduced the paint to allow it to age very quickly in the weather, soon it will be faded to match the rest of the truck.

Gonna add more stripes to the truck as time goes by...

Checkin Out ZZ TOP....

Heading out to see ZZ TOP in concert tonight. Some may ask why I am posting this.
Because Billy Gibbons just happens to be an incredible old school pinstriper! One of the few surviving originators.... He is truly a force in the art world.

Great to be here!
Here are a couple pics of my most recent work.
Knocked these out last weekend for a shop across town...

New noggin protector...

First Post....

Well, here it goes.
I am dedicating this blog space to all of the underappreciated and undervalued starving custom graphic and pinstripe artist in this crazy economic time. To those who take a stand and say screw eating steak for dinner, I need that new Kafka brush, or that new color One-Shot just came out with.
All-in-all, I think that being able to showcase our work, hell, maybe even showing off a little, will bring a moment of "this is why I do this" for some of us. Even if no-one really gives a damn.
